Today’s PTA meeting was a testament to the power of collaboration. Teachers, parents, and our valued partner, Laura Brown, came together to explore new opportunities for students to thrive in social-emotional learning. The meeting fostered meaningful discussions and innovative strategies aimed at supporting our students’ holistic development.
We’re excited to announce that, thanks to Laura Brown’s partnership, we will be welcoming motivational speaker Rowena Gono to inspire our upper-grade students starting this Friday. Ms. Gono is an accomplished speaker with a passion for empowering young minds. She is an alumna of St. Theresa’s Convent, has studied at the University of Liberia’s Monrovia campus, and furthered her education at Clark Atlanta University.
We’re thrilled to have Ms. Gono as an extension of our staff, and we look forward to the positive impact her words of encouragement and wisdom will have on our students. This successful PTA meeting is a shining example of what can be achieved when teachers, partners, and parents join forces to create an enriching educational environment.
